We followed the procedure outlined in this blog below and discovered 3 issues:
- During the import database step on mapping the users, the Deployment Manager did not recognize and map users from the trusted domain
- The import took hours for the 36 GB production database
- Last but not least… J After the import no users could logging to redeployed environment getting "Invalid User Authorization" message – so re-deployment was not successful.
After repeating the procedure while having the Update Rollup 8 installed, all problems went away, and the Import process took 10 min instead of hours.
